Admitted Buck fan!
Really like the Mustang. Read a prerelease story calling it the new Spitfire. I think that’s a good starting point (I have over 30 Spitfires, I like them some also). It is what I expected of Buck for a lock back. Blade shape and geometry are very close to the Range series. Fit and finish are excellent. Blade is near perfect centered. Action is stiff in the places you would expect a lock back to be, and not where it shouldn’t! The pocket clip is wider and longer than I expected, and slips into blue jeans very smoothly. The back spacer color variation is a “pretty” touch, with a lot of room for lanyard attachment if so desired. The stone washed blade matches well with the hardware and the scale texture and color are very well done!
I am hoping for the Mustang to be a base for all of Buck’s treatment levels, colors, blade steels etc. I will be in line for what drops ahead. I’m sold!! I love it!
