  1. Jhb

Perfect. Blade centered. Scale oak perfect in matchong on both sides. Color even and grain running nicely. No side to side or up and down blade play. Came sharp with decently ground bevels. All in all a great deal. Thank you Sirs and Ma’ams.

  2. AJC

This is just a beautiful knife. I own a 119 from ’67-’68 & it has served me well. When I saw this blade in 5160 carbon steel I couldn’t resist.
The brass guard and pommel are highly polished and really stand out nicely against the black handle.
I noticed the carbon steel version feels slightly heavier in the handle no doubt due to the use of brass instead of aluminum. This actually feels like it’s better balanced in my hand than the standard 119.
The blade arrived razor sharp (easily shaved arm hair) and was lightly oiled. The edge appears to be flawless.
Shipping from Copper and Clad was super fast and free! All in all a great product and a great vendor.
If you like carbon steel blades you won’t be disappointed with this knife.

  3. Indiana Joe

I expected it to be nice, but it exceeded my expectations. The brass guard/pommel look great with the traditional black handle. Fit and finish are perfect.

  4. David Rushton

I received the knife promptly, but the scales didn’t match. One side looked discolored. I asked for an exchange and heard from customer service promptly. They sent me a shipping label and I sent it back. I’m hopeful the replacement will be more evenly colored and esthetically pleasing.

This knife with the oak scales and 5160 carbon blade is a real winner. Great quality, and a perfect addition to any collection. I highly recommend this knife.

  6. Disappointed! (verified owner)

This is the second Buck I recently bought, one on here and one through their Amazon link. Both had blades that were rubbing up against the liner. Had to send both into Buck to have it fixed. Buck seems not to care about their QC any more. Better ask Copper and Clad to look at one before shipping it out.

  7. JED

First, excellent service, fast delivery, good job all around! The knife? I LIKE IT! Sharp out of the box. Really sharp. Great fit and finish, the oak is nice, tho not exceptional. I washed a lot of grit and polishing compound out of it, and smoothed it up considerably. I don’t consider this an issue, rather something I expect with some tools. All in all, a very nice knife.

Tho I seem to have always had one around for the last 40 years or so, I’ve never really been a fan of the Buck 110. Until now. THIS is the knife that changed my mind.
