William Brown –
Fit and finish on this knife are perfect. Carried for a couple days at work and really put it to the test with great results. I’ve had other 112s before but never with the drop point blade, it feels beefier. I love it! The knife is a tank, well built and I’m sure it will outlast me!

I am a big fan of blue knives and every time I see Buck release something in this color I have to add it to my collection. It is a beautiful knife as far as fit/finish but I am disappointed to say that the indigo color scales on mine were really dark. They almost look black and you have to really get close to it (under sunlight) to see any hint of color. The little color that does show through doesn’t even look like an indigo blue it looks more green. I bought this as a wedding gift and will keep it but just know that if you are going to get one the blue is nothing like the picture shown.

I recently received a Buck Ranger 112 folding knife from Copper and Clad, and after checking the date of this knife I found that it is several years old, but of course it is ultimately a brand new knife. Also I’m positive that this knife was personally inspected as per my request. The knife was in perfect working order and just a beautiful piece of merchandise. The reason that I am stressing these points is because I have had to return several knives (to other companies) for similar reasons. And not only did the folks at Copper and Clad inspect this knife, they answered my emails each and every time…..so thanks guys and keep up the excellent work, it is much appreciated.

I ordered this because I love the indigo blue color shown in the picture, but in person it leaves much to be desired. The scales/wood was too dark for the color to come through. The blade was perfect but just wish it looked more like the picture.

This is a very nice looking knife. Excellent fit and finish. The 420 HC blade was not as sharp as other Buck knives that I have gotten recently, but it has not been too hard to improve it a lot with some diamond sharpeners. What really did it for me is the nickel silver frame and bolsters – beautiful!
