Nice knife otherwise. But the scales look like they delaminated and got stained and finished anyway. I got it on sale so maybe that explains the quality………… But hey, I finally got a
Buck knife that had a fully intact box that wasn’t all crushed! I could have sent it back but refuse to pay shipping……… Everything else was typical Buck quality but I so tire of buying things that are suppose to be so wonderful and just turn out to be average.

There was some grit in the hinge of the knife.
A little solvent and an air blast cleaned it out and smooth opening took place.
